My Escargot Hat

I think my NEXT one will be brown or red or maybe black with a fun color for the trim. Also I disregarded the directions and attached the swirl my own way and THEN looked at the pictures in the pattern and read the directions more closely and realized that I should have done it differently in order to make it look more like the pattern blah blah blah I can't really explain it but I think I know what I need to do differently next time. Also I will check my gauge next time, which I neglected to do this time. (the hat might be a little bit too big.) But it was fun and relatively quick to knit! And I am pretty happy with it!

The yarn I used for this one is Cascade 220.

Now I'm attempting to use up my many many MANY bits of leftover yarn to make a flower blanket (afghan? quilt? whatever you wanna call it). This will probably be a long-term project!
