...sometimes I still write and record music! My musical (and life) partner Grilch finally finished mixing down my latest song "Nothing to Say". It's an upbeat little piano tune that I wrote a couple years ago. I posted it on the "recordings" page of my "official" website. (Have a listen to the other tunes too while you are there!) I played piano and sang, and he added the drums and awesome bass and did all the production. He's a talented fella!
In other music recording news, I haven't gotten very far with my Big Alphabet Project. But it is still floating around in my brain. I recorded "P" and started "D" and know what I want to do for some of the other letters, but I keep getting tangled up with (and tripped up by) technology. Recording with computers is challenging for me, I don't seem to have the patience to learn how to do things correctly. I can't get past the "learning curve" that seems to exist with all the various recording programs. But I DO want to be able to do my own recording so I don't have to rely on other people's time and energy quite so much. I know I've said all this before. I will probably say it again.
